We replaced the compressor in 2019 and it has gone out again. Been full timing almost 8 yrs but getting ready buy house in the next year. Been in current site for 1 1/2 years and not going anywhere till we buy a house. In the 3582RL the fridge sets 20 inches off the floor at angle to the kitchen. Will a residential fridge work here? thoughts?

Not a comprehensive list but a few thoughts to get you started:

Decide how much work you want to do - buy a smaller fridge to fit into the existing space or remove the lower cabinet and put a taller model. You might also consider what you will do with the trailer after you move into the new place.

Determine the dimensions of your current cabinet and depending on modifications you’re planning, determine the max size cabinet you could have.

Keep in mind the depth of standard, floor standing fridges are 30”-33” deep. You may have to go cabinet depth which can cost more. If you keep the cabinet as-is, you may need to go to a dorm size 7-12 cu ft fridge - maybe someone makes a small rv model but I’m guessing it would be more expensive than a big box store.

Run power line and outlet. If you’re going to keep traveling, you’ll need an inverter. Size it according to your power needs. We ordered our unit with a resi fridge and it came with a 2000 watt inverter. (We can run a 1600 watt coffee maker if needed). Picture shows the basic connection with battery and transfer switch.

Have to see if my Good Sams extended warranty will fix it again. They have been pretty good until recently. But we will be selling the rig when we find a house in Florida near our daughter. I've heard Samsung and 1 other that make a size that fits about perfect.
Thank you for the tips. Will see what my rv tech can do.

Hope this helps
