Finding the Water Pump Switch in a 2001 Montana Fifth Wheel

I know, it's a 25 year old camper, but I just bought it, put it on some acreage I own, and filled the water tank. Now I need to turn the 12 volt pump on but cannot find the on/off switch. Help!

I had a 2006 Monty. I am pretty sure the switch was on the wall bay other switches.

What model do you have? It has been a while but I seem to recall the rear kitchen models had the switch by the sink.

My old 2850 rear kitchen, the switch was by the sink too. To the left and right under the sink

Look for a panel like this...

Mine is on the back wall on the side of a cabinet.

Be careful with the HTR switch. That’s the hot water switch turning electrical power to the hot water heater. Without water in the water heater you can burn your heater element up if you turn the switch on.

Actually, this HTR switch controls the propane heater portion of the water heater. There is no inside switch for the electric portion of the water heater on early year Montanas. But running either function, without water in the tank, is definitely a no-no.

You’re right Carl. Sory for the be info , just remember from the long past to never turn it on without water in the tank. Great point!
