Hello Everyone! I currently own a 2020 Montana High Country 331RL. It has always towed a little nose high with my old 2019 GMC 2500 short bed, just got a new 2026 GMC 3500 short bed that sits even higher from the factory. My old truck had a Pullrite Superglide slider hitch. New truck bed is actually 6'9" long. Thinking of using a B&W non slider hitch. Im still concerned about nose height on the camper though. I know I need 6" of clearance over the bed rails but I dont think any of these new hitches sit low enough to pull the camper level anyway. The pin box on the camper is adjusted to the lowest setting for the camper. Anyone recommend anything specific for these new taller trucks? Thank You

2023 Silverado 2500 HC pulling 2022 HC 295RL. Coming home last May on I70 (eastern CO) broke two leaf springs on right rear spring pack. Had Performance Trailer Braking install Roadmaster slipper springs with shocks yesterday and they also wanted the "lift blocks" installed so 5er would pull flat- not nose high. Lift blocks came with new U-bolts and are about 1 1/2" high. First test run won't be for another 10 days.

I’ve got a 2023 Silverado 3500 crew cab short bed(SRW), 2025 3231CK. I use B&W 25k non slider to factory puck system. I have the hitch adjusted as close to the cab as possible and still have plenty of cab and bed clearance. My trailer is pretty level. I used to tow(a different fifth wheel) with a 06 Sierra 2500 and the two trucks sitting next to each other the bed rails actually are higher(unloaded) on the 06. If you want details on the exact hitch adjustment let me know and I will look. The trailer pin box is how it came from the factory
