Hello! My bedroom slide has been out for a little over a week. I keep it at my house. We loaded up the rig to head out and the bedroom slide will not retract. It is electric. The room begins to retract, then after a few inches the whole slide will twist several inches. As I try to back the slide, it will twist back. I have looked at the controller box and it is not showing a fault. I reset the controller but nothing changed. I’ve checked the 80 amp breaker. I have 2 new battleborne batteries and a plugged into 50amps.
2020 3700LK.
Thanks for any advice.

There are hundreds of Schwintek slide YouTube videos out there, and I have not watched very many…but I found this guy several years ago and I live by his advice with my Schwintek for lubrication and synchronizing…so far, it purrs to go out and it purrs to go in. He also has videos on taking the guts/motors out completely, but you should try the lubrication and resynching first.

I am guessing it is a Schwintek slide, so the 80 amp breaker is for the hydraulic slides. There is a procedure to bypass the hall sensor on the Schwintek controller to run the slide in IF both motors actually work. If memory serves, you press the button on the controller 6 times, then hold on the 7th until the lights flash. Then you should be able to run the slides in. If one of the motors is not working, you will need to disconnect it and manually push the slide in (it's not easy).
There should be a sticker on the controller that shows the bypass procedure. I uploaded the Lippert Schwintek Manual to the Resources section, but I can't figure out how to link it here.
Click on Resources in the blue bar above, then look in the Manuals section.

The controller looks like this…
It is in the front storage compartment, probably mounted on the back wall on the same side as your slide.

I just went through this problem.
Before going on our last trip, we discovered the forward wall was not moving. I was able to push that side in/out by hand while DW held the button down.
When we got home I watched a few videos on how to change the forward motor. I brought the slide about half way in.
On the outside, remove the motor retention screw. This screw goes through the outside slide wiper at the top.
Remove the vertical inside seal.
Remove about a foot of the top seal.
Carefully pull back the wire harness until you have the plug going to the motor. This is where I discovered the purple motor wire was broken.
Pry up on the motor. The motor must separate at the adapter to get it out.
Lift out the motor.
I bought this one to replace the bad one.

This motor is better than the original. The moving parts on top are covered so it doesn't rub on the wiring.
Grease the motor shaft before putting it into the adapter. Mine rusted in there and it was very difficult to get them to separate when removing the old motor.

Reassemble everything and test.
The bedroom slide works perfectly now.

We had a very similar problem. Once the schwintek motors get out of sync it will cause the bed frame to skew on the rollers it rests on. Ours caused the bed to rip away from the wall. With the bed all the way out check that the bed is sitting evenly on those rollers. Then you need to sync the motors. Look for instructions on how to sync. Remember that you cannot interrupt these motors while moving the bed in or out. You extend or retract and then continue holding the slide operating switch for another 3 seconds to insure proper synching took place.

Common issue with this slide. Mine in a 2020 and had to be rebuilt 3 times before they got it right. If you press the little button inside the controller you will put it in override and if both motors work it will retract. Make sure you hold the switch in for 5 seconds after it stops. This will sync the motors. If you got the extended warranty and it's still active, it's covered. Attached is the repair bulletin and the override process.
