2018 Montana High Country 5th wheel. My 6000 lb axles are 32inch center to center and the OEM LCI Road armor tandem equalizer bolt spacing for the shackles connecting point is 6 inches. The leaf springs are 26 inches long. The only difference I see between the OEM system and the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System by Dexter Axle part #K71-652-00 are the shackle center to center measurement. Mine c to c is 3 1/4inch and the kits shackle c to c is 2 ¼ inch will that be a problem?

Since no one has replied I'll give my thoughts. If the shackles are pretty much vertical, changing their length by 1" should change camper height by something less than 1". Depending on if carriage is over or under slung will determine if camper is higher or lower.

Thought I answered but, guess some electronic gremlin eveidently 'ate' it.

Yes, it will not only lower the trailer a bit but will pull the wheels closer. This in turn may change the stability and cause a 'twitchiness' when towing. My frame of reference was when I replaced the springs on our 343RL High Country with 26" versions instead of the required 25-1/4". A note here - you said yours were measured in place at 26". They probably are in reality, 25-1/4 in a free, uninstalled free state. I made that $150 and 5 or so hours labor mistake. Be real carefull with the on line Dexter charts - they contributed to my $$ mistake.
