We own a 25 3123 RL and will be going on a month trip in the near future. We have the solar 400 system with (2) 100 amp battle borne batteries. I have a Honda 3300 generator that I purchased for our Lance pull trailer that I would like to use when we dry camp.

My question to the group is the capability of running one of the Ac with the 3300 generator. Since the generator only has a 30 amp outlet would I be ok ? I would utilize a 50 to 30 amp plug in to run the ac.
Thanks in advance for the advice and suggestions

You will have to manage your 120V device use, but yes, the gennie will run the A/C. I think you have a 12V refer, which is fine. But, if, you have a residential refer than you could be close to the 30 amp limit.

I would recommend adding a SoftStartRV to one of AC units. I installed one on the bedroom AC unit. It helps by reducing the startup current draw when the compressor kicks on so it doesn't bog down the generator.
I have tested it running on a 2000w inverter (552Ah lithium batteries, 1000W solar) and it works fine.
Power management is key.

A soft start would be nice like Daryles recommended. You should be ok with that generator. Just watch your use and if you overload unplug something and try again, probably just like you have been doing.
