OK everyone bear with me. I am learning this new Monty. I have a 2014 3625re. I can not find a switch to turn on the little light under the mirror that aligns the king pin for hooking up. Any ideas on this? thanks again. I will get this figured out sooner or later. Joe

Try turning on your big scare light on the curbside of your camper. There should be a toggle switch for it on the wall with the other light and slide-out switches inside. Mine comes on with that light. Also, with the remote, but I'm reading the new Montanas don't have remotes anymore.

If you have a remote it comes on with the security (panic) light on the off-side. I would think that it would work with the interior switch for the same security light if you don't have a remote. If you do have a remote and turn it on with the remote, it has to be turned off with the remote,
Bingo

OK, my montana 3800RE works as stated above...that's good. But does anyone know what the lettering for the two scare lights stands for: ODS and DS? I figured that DS was drivers side and ODS was Opposite Drivers Side even though my switches are wired backwards of my translation. My guess was the vendor couldn't think of labeling the curbside light as CS or some other vague reason. And thanks to this thread, I now know how to turn on the hitch light should i need to. john

Of course, they did not anticipate the 3850 having a door on each side?? Should have labeled ours as FDS (front door side) and RDS (rear door side)!! [}:)][}:)][}:)]
Bingo

I tried all of the DS's and the ODS's and does not work, my new Monty does not come with a remote. Wish it did. Miss that when it comes to a few items. I guess I will contact the brains at Keystone and ask them. CW did not know they along with myself flipped every switch and looked everywhere. I was also reading about the door discussion. I had to adjust nearly every door on mine. set the latches and since have not had a issue. they have to be set nearly perfect to stay shut. My first trip I had 6 doors open when I went to open my slides barely caught the one by the rear entertainment area.
Thanks again to all for the help Joe

I would think that if it is like other models, that it would be the ODS Flood Light switch that should control it? (Middle row of switches - slightly left of center on the panel.) Sorry I can't be of more help, we have had remotes on the last two rigs.
Bingo

Joe,

Do the scare lights work? My hitch light comes on when I turn the door side scare light on. FYI, the scare lights and awning are on the same fuse. The red blown fuse light will not light unless you have a load on that fuse. If a fuse on a light ckt is blown the red light will not lite till you turn on that light switch.

Hi Jim, yes all lights work, no blown fuse lights, have not got this one figured out yet. Joe
