I am looking to upgrade my 2108 330RL from the POS drum to disk brakes. The question I have is should I go with Slipover Disks (you keep your original hub and just slip the disk on like your car or truck IE outboard brakes) or Integral brake (the hub and disk are all one piece IE inboard brakes). All of the pictures I am see are the Integral type however I like the idea of having totally separate disk. Looking for opinions...

I'm hoping that by 2108, discs are finally standard brakes on all RV's. If you really have a 2018, then You will still need to repack your bearings occasionally, so the disc/rotor will still need to be removed to service the bearings. We had our brakes replaced with discs in June at the rally in Coos Bay, OR, and I can't see where there would be a big advantage by having a hub and rotor separate from each other, as you would still need to remove the caliper to remove the rotor, and if you use the EZ Lube system, and don't have leaking wheel seals, you won't have to remove anything except the wheel to inspect the brake pads. This is our brakes, prior to fully completing the install.

You'll also need to knock out all the studs and pull in longer ones. I put in the larger outer bearing when I did mine.
