Oh, that is her gun. Needed something to prop up the Paracord for the photo-op.
Thanks John.

Army is good too! I will ask her to do Army colors :)
(I was in the Navy.) Brownwater 'Nam.
I salute all branches and the men and women who served our country.

Once again Sue's great work on display. Not only talented, but she has the common sense to be a wheel gun lady;) instead of carrying one of those "jam in the sand" guns like you do[}:)][:p]

That hammer-less S&W is a nice piece.

and

I have two that start with a .3 (inherited)

and

my .40

Semper Fi!

Thanks, we like the J-Frame, I have one like hers.
She has her name engraved it in, and a Diamond set in the frame. Fancy-schmancy...

She is a petite lady, could I suggest a .380 semi-auto. I know... you are a wheel-gun guy, but that .38 comes with quite a recoil, might be strong for new shooters.
Now, I am making assumptions, she may not be new to shooting, but just trying to be helpful.

Just bought my wife a .380 for Christmas. Only problem is she has trouble working the slide. Not sure if she is just afraid to rip on it or she just don't got the grip to pull it back. We wanted something a little smaller for her and also for me to use when I don't wear enough clothes to hide my .45. Only problem is it has purple grips too, but I figure if they are laughing gives me more time to aim lol lol.... Hopefully if we shoot it some it will loosen up some.

Was shooting with several women qualifying for Concealed Carry on Saturday. One poor woman had a very small 9 and kept using a two hand grip with the thumb of her left hand on top of her gun hand. She already had a bandaid on it from practicing the night before, but had to change the bandaid twice in 25 rounds due to the slide coming back and hitting her thumb. It's not only the kick that gets you.

True, Dat.. A single stack clip is best for the smaller hand, my Glock is double stack, too fat for small hands, but the .380 is a great choice for small hands... How many times did I say small hands... would make a good SAT test math question...
Time for me to get some sleep.
