We have a 2022 High Country 295RL with the factory installed 200amp solar set up. What is required to change from the two lead acid batteries to Lithium Ion batteries? We would like to extend our boondocking so installing two 200ah LI batteries seems like a good idea.
Thank you for your input.

First, welcome to the forum!

LI install is basically plug and play. There are plenty of posts to review to get more info. Need to consider if you want to go with heated batteries based on your typical camping. Your solar should be able to charge to 100%. Your converter may only get them to 85% or so depending on what model you have but it will not be a show stopper.

We don't have any solar and our converter gets our 3 x 100 amp hour batteries (Battle Born) to 100%. You can do up to a max of 100 amp/hr without having to change the wiring on the camper. Definitely go with heated batteries. You never know when you will need it and it's just an extra switch to disable if you want it.

I have a 295 with a 400 watt factory solar. I installed two 100 ah lithium's, changed the converter to LI and set the Victron shut battery parameters to LI. I was getting to 100% with full sun. I've since added two more panels for a total of 720 watts. By the time I get up my batteries are at 70%. By noon, 100%.
