Can Slide Header Backing Be Removed Without Ceiling Sagging?

I have never removed any of the fascia trim on my rig - but I think it attached using pin nails…so you should be able to pry it off carefully. I don’t recall if they also use adhesive, but just go slow. The ceiling panels are probably not attached to the fascia. I would use trim screws (screen shot below) to put the fascia trim back, then it would be easy to remove next time. The screen shot from Home Depot shows a gold finish, but I use black finish screws and they blend in with the wood trim just fine IMHO. I used them to reattach my living room crown molding a few years ago when the crown molding fell off.

Thank you for your reply and thanks for the tip on the screws.
I should have attached a photo to provide at least some degree of clarity to my question. I've attached a pic of where I'm at. My concern is the ceiling panel sagging when I take it into the dealership to remove the slide for work on the underside of the slide. I've landed on the side of caution by leaving it where it is.
FYI: I can see glue when I peek between the ceiling panel and the header bottom.
Thanks again. Have fun out there

I would add screws along the edge of the ceiling panel. I would use 1" truss head screws as they have a bigger head than a pan head screw. Note: I am not a finish carpenter and exposed screws don't bother me (as long as I could get it approved by The Inspector (DW))
