If anyone could give me some info on a campground near St. Louis, MO maybe just off of I-70 We would stop there on the 25th of this month. It doesn't have to be the fanciest just quiet and safe.

We stayed at the Cahokia RV Parque across the river in Cahokia, IL. Not the fanciest park, but worked for us doing an over night stop. It's rated 8.0 to 9.5 on Good Sam site.

We have always stayed at Sundemeyers(sp) in St. Charles. Kind of a parking lot but fine for a night ot two. On our next visit to St Louis on the advice of SReigel we are going to try St. Peters RV Park. Both these parks are close to St. Charles with a couple of nice casino's and a neat old downtown. Jim

There is a campground at Jonesburg, Jonesburg Gardens (an old KOA) that we stay at--west of St. Louis a ways, but just north of Herman and the wineries

KOA/East St Louis/Graniteville, IL. We stayed there one night last year. Just off I 270. Not the best KOA but not near the worst, either. Convenient to the city and cheap.

Hi

We had a good over night here as well. Not hard to get to from the Interstate.
