After a year of traveling with the Marathons, today I "traded" them in for the G614s. What a relief to have them out of the picture. Now to enjoy the drive.

congratulations! Many of us have done the same and feel much better after doing so.

That really is true, how much better you can enjoy towing without waiting and watching every minute for the tire problem back there. Personally, Joyce and I think they ride better also.

Very well said! I have the passenger side mirror tilted entirely to keep an eye on the Marathons. Tires on drivers side is in normal view. Kind of a pain to constantly watch over your tires. Can't wait to change mine out next week! Will be a breath of fresh air. :)

We finally got our 614's and got a decent allowance for the Marabombs. Wingfoot Goodyear in Fife, Wa did the job and we are very pleased with the install. The techs there took care in lifting the Monty. I was really glad to see that. So am towing with more peace of mind like everyone else that have done it.

I guess that I am one of the lucky ones. I put close to 30,000 miles on my original Marathons and got rid of them due to age factor before changing to G614's, and they still had pretty fair tread left too. I always ran them at 90 psi cold inflation as per Goodyear's 10 psi higher than rated pressure/speed rating bulletin. Not sure if that bulletin is still in effect though.
