Black tank wand

I have a 2021 3231ck. The black tank wand is plugged. Does not spin at all. To make a long story short, I was at an rv resort near Sevierville TN and they had a problem with their water softener. It was dumping fine black sand sized particles into the water supply. I am assuming it may be carbon. I reached out to the rv park and asked what these particles might consist of. I have not received any response. Assuming it is carbon, the only thing that will dissolve carbon is acetone. Acetone will ruin the piping and glue. I can’t find anything that will dissolve carbon without ruining the tank or abs pipes. Unfortunately, I did not think to save any of the particles to see if some other solution will dissolve the particles.
Is anyone in the club familiar with the wand setup? Is it mounted to the top of the tank where I can access through the basement? Is it screwed to the top of the tank? Or does the entire black tank have to be removed to gain access by dropping the underbelly?
Any feedback would be appreciated

I think it is screwed into the side of the black tank. You sshoud be able to drop the coroplast and access it.

Here is a video showing how to replace a tank flush head. I’m not sure if our Montana spray heads “spin and spray” or just spray…I think mine simply spray. The “hard” part might be removing and replacing the coroplast underbelly. There are many threads here in the forum explaining how to remove the “nails” holding the coroplast and replacing them with screws when you put the belly material back in place…search for “removing coroplast”. You might consider removing a section at the edge to find your spray heads then cutting an “access panel” rather than removing the whole underbelly. You may also need to replace the vacuum breaker valve shown in the tank flush diagram in the video as these are prone to fail. Once you get the spray head off the tank - hook the hose up and run some water thru the pipe to make sure you have cleared the pipes and the vacuum breaker. Lots of folks here take the vacuum breaker out and install a piece of pipe, the uses a backflow nozzle at the water hose connection. I have not done any of this work myself, but I have read other people’s account of doing the job.

I think your unit only has one black tank and it is located below the basement oriented north-south.

More than likely the sprayer for the black tank flush is spin welded into the tank. If so you should be able to remove the water line connection, plug it and drill a new hole and install a new fitting using the proper sealant and screws. Then attach water connection then.

On ours, it is mounted to the front of the tank. Take down the forward edge of the coroplaste to access it.

Frankly I wouldn't mess with the black tank sprayer. I find that using a hose down the old terlit hole provides so much more water pressure needed to break up the poo pyramid, never mind much faster in getting lots of water in the tank so it can create the slurry needed to get everything down the chute. IMHO the sprayer is OK at best.

Before tearing into the black tank, make sure the anti-syphen (check valve) gizmo under your bathroom sink is not the problem.

I had a similar experience with a previous camper, except mine was dirt in the garden hose from my own yard. As soon as that speck of dirt hit the anti-syphen gizmo, it clogged immediately. No matter what I did, I could not unclog it. I did not want to buy another one (I thought for the plastic thing, the price was just insanely high), so I just used some PVC and by-passed it completely by connecting both pipes under the sink together with no check valve.

Bottom line, the sprayer worked perfectly fine after that. I never did install a new valve under the sink, but when I traded the trailer for another camper, I did let the dealership know it was removed. They had no heartburn over that.

So, check that FIRST. It takes only a tiny speck of dirt of any kind to jam up those valves.
