Well said Byron!I am always hesitant to trust the reviews and comments on any website that sells a product. When I learned a few years ago about the businesses that do nothing but put up fake reviews and whatever is necessary to put one product ahead of another when using a search function, I lost faith in them. I would rather trust the reviews and comments here than Amazon, google eBay or any other site!
To answer your question. Depending on the TPMS system you get will depend on how they mount. True vehicular sensors are in the tire and replace the valve stem. The stand alone system sensors take the place of the valve stem caps.Dumb question time: am I correct in assuming that the sensors essentially screw onto the valve stem, from the outside? Like a valve stem cap with a locking screw? And that the readings are sent to the dash monitor by Bluetooth or other means?
Years ago I incurred about $3K damage twice on our Mobile Suites in two separate incidents. Giving serious consideration to a tps system with the crazy heat here in Texas and other places. Seems like pretty cheap Insurance to me…..

Well received my new TST 507 package yesterday and will start installing it today. Will need to have steel valve stems installed in 10 wheels, lots of work ahead for me.
You don't need to install metal valve stems if you don't mind screwing off the sensor to add air. I didn't find that a huge problem for 4 tires. If you have high quality tires, you probably don't need to add air very often.Well received my new TST 507 package yesterday and will start installing it today. Believe you will really like the TST 707 setup. Ours is working out so well that I'm considering adding sensors to our Ram so that I won't have to monitor the truck tires from a separate EVIC display. In for a penny, in for a pound - so I might as well get one for both spare tires too. Saves crawling beneath the truck or fiver to ensure the spares are in good service for trips as well. Safe travels and happy camping!Well received my new TST 507 package yesterday and will start installing it today. Did you go with the standard ones or the flow through?
