Best TPSM to buy?

I received, installed and programed my GMC trailer TPMS's. They work great through the GMC trailer app. Pressure and temp. So happy!

I am always hesitant to trust the reviews and comments on any website that sells a product. When I learned a few years ago about the businesses that do nothing but put up fake reviews and whatever is necessary to put one product ahead of another when using a search function, I lost faith in them. I would rather trust the reviews and comments here than Amazon, google eBay or any other site!

I've had my TST 507 system for the past 8 years. I have the first generation flow thru sensors. I have a total of 12 flow thru sensor between my TV and camper. I haven't had any issues with them and customer service is great.

Well said Byron!

Dumb question time: am I correct in assuming that the sensors essentially screw onto the valve stem, from the outside? Like a valve stem cap with a locking screw? And that the readings are sent to the dash monitor by Bluetooth or other means?

Years ago I incurred about $3K damage twice on our Mobile Suites in two separate incidents. Giving serious consideration to a tps system with the crazy heat here in Texas and other places. Seems like pretty cheap Insurance to me…..

We have good travel friends who totally shredded a tire and their Tire Minder still showed pressure, they didn't even know it happened until a passing motorist pointed to their trailer. They have switched to the TST 507.

To answer your question. Depending on the TPMS system you get will depend on how they mount. True vehicular sensors are in the tire and replace the valve stem. The stand alone system sensors take the place of the valve stem caps.

I am looking at the tst 507

I have a Tire Minder I bought last year and so far it has been good. I monitor all 4 of my fifth wheel tires. I can see all 4 psi’s at once and it did alert me of high pressure on this last trip. Been happy no problems so far.

Well received my new TST 507 package yesterday and will start installing it today. Will need to have steel valve stems installed in 10 wheels, lots of work ahead for me.

Tst 507

All the new Montana's come equipped standard with the TST 507 now with the sensors on the wheel (inside)
We used the Tire Minder 66 and i10 on our Passport and had lots of issues with it the older it got (1 year). Gave No Signal warnings just about every time out.
So far so good with the TST 507. Super easy to set up and I love the display.. much better than the Tire Minder display.
Glad it came stock from Keystone.

You don't need to install metal valve stems if you don't mind screwing off the sensor to add air. I didn't find that a huge problem for 4 tires. If you have high quality tires, you probably don't need to add air very often.

Believe you will really like the TST 707 setup. Ours is working out so well that I'm considering adding sensors to our Ram so that I won't have to monitor the truck tires from a separate EVIC display. In for a penny, in for a pound - so I might as well get one for both spare tires too. Saves crawling beneath the truck or fiver to ensure the spares are in good service for trips as well. Safe travels and happy camping!

I use the EEZ tire Tpms and it is working great so far. My 450 didn't come factory with any way to monitor tire pressure, so I purchased the one with 10 sensors. I ordered the booster but so far haven't needed it. Very easy set up.

JV, take some soap bubbles and check each sensor after installing them. I installed my new system about a month ago while getting new tires then put my Montana away with tire covers in place. I uncovered my tires to hook up in preparation to travel Saturday and one of the new tires was nearly flat. I aired the tire up and started checking with soap bubbles thinking I might have a bead or new valve stem leaking. Turns out the sensor is leaking on the end that screws onto the valve stem. The leak is where the brass part meets the plastic body. I'll be contacting TST tomorrow to see how well their warranty service and support functions.
