Best Sealant for Replacing Fantastic Fan Covers on an EPDM Roof

I have 2 Fantastic Fan covers that I will be replacing. The one side of the hinge sits basically flat on the roof and is screwed down with sealant over the screws and hinge flange. Fiver is18 years old I'm not sure as to what sealant I will use. A self leveling Dicor product or a RV silicone. I viewed a video on line where someone used a dicor type product to cover the screws and hinge only to find out the material peeled right off. Only to find out RV silicone was the product to be used. The curb on the fan is not tall enough to install the hinge vertical. I know I can make the replacement cover repair, but not looking to do it twice.

I would use Dicor self leveling on your EDPM roof.

I installed these AFTER I inspected the roof and verified the correct Hinge fittings were already installed from the factory.
