I searched IRV2 for “weatherstrip adhesive” and this came up in quite a few threads. Reviews were very good with some folks saying they kept a tube in the RVs toolbox with extra caulking tubes. I have a few pieces coming loose at the radius corners…I think I will try this stuff. One guy said he taped the weatherstripping in place until the adhesive cured - so it is not like contact cement. But now that I think about it…if I taped off the area to catch overspray, I might try spray contact cement (as long as it did not dissolve the weatherstripping…guess I better read the can first).
Well this worked for me your millage may vary, I ended up using two way tape. I cleaned both surfaces and it was easy and straight forward, no mess or holding while waiting for the adhesive to dry. Hope this helped.
