Has anyone else had their baggage doors turn dark at the bottom? My door side did while under warranty, and Keystone replaced it. Now the opposite side hss, and I contacted Keystone, and their response was, "Sorry, You're out of warranty". It would seem that if it happend on both, they would replace this one also.

Do you know or did Keytsone say what causes the discoloration. Our 3150RL is a 2010 model and I just noticed a small ridge across the door with what looks like small pimples at the bottom of our baggage door on the curb side. Makes one wonder about the material and workmanship at Keystone if they provide only a one yr warranty on their upper end 5th wheels.

No one ever said. My dealer guessed that it could be bad prep under the gel coat, but wasn't sure. If this was the only door, I wouldn't have expected them to replace it, but since it was both, I would think it would be a manufacturing problem.

I plan on being persistent. Just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem, or as usual, just lucky me. My unit stays covered, but the sun shines part of the day on the side that discolored first. The other side only gets sun when we're camping.

I just noticed mine starting to stain just the other day, I cant believe that you posted this.Keep me informed on what happens. Im out of warrenty also . I do have a extended warranty but not sure they cover this.

I doubt extended warranty would pay. It's just a shame to have this ruin the looks of a beautiful camper. Oops! double post. Lost internet connection while sending. Thanks Comcast!

Yes, we have the same problem on both basement doors...maybe we can get a solution at the Nat'l Rally...

Our friends 2011 3150RL has had both doors yellow. She got Keystone to replace both out of warranty. The doors are made by Lippert.

Took a bit of phone time, but she won.

For what it will cost in fuel to go to the rally and bitch @ Keystone, just buy a couple of doors.

I have dealt with Customer Service/NOT. What a joke, girls that don't know anything, forward a message and they say normal.

I am on my first and only Keystone product.

Jim

I have no problem with my unit, it has been nearly trouble free. My point is that if one door is replaced under warranty, and the other suffers the same fate, it should be replaced, also, warranty or not. I could re-paint it myself, but shouldn't have to.
