Awning wire location

2010 Mountaineer. Does anyone know where this wire goes?

The wire must go to your awning motor, there can be no other reason for that wire to exist.

Sorry, let me be more specific. The wire does come down from the awning motor, and I assume it ends up at the switch on the the control panel.

I'm trying to figure out where it is routed inside the RV walls, at this point of entry.

It travels inside the wall , either Ina concealing panel or inside the frame rail. They are not all the same.
