Hi I'm really at a loss on how to activate the speakers in my used 2010 Montana 3400 RL that I'm living in in a small RV park in Central Florida. I had a local internet service provider help turn the Toshiba TV in the unit into a smart TV and I'm using the remote he gave me, but how do I activate the three small speakers above the TV? I see that each of these speakers have a wire that go into a hole through the board but not sure where it leads to. Can anyone put me on the right path? I really appreciate it.

It has been a while, but I believe the wires go into the cabinet and connect to the stereo unit, That is the device the powers the speakers. The question is really "how does the TV connect, if at all, to the stereo???'

The Toshiba doesn't sound like a TV that came in Montanas. I am guessing it is a flat screen, and not the old tube type TV, and it is a "smart' TV or has an added Fire Stick or such device.

What stereo do you have? Does it have an optical input or Blue Tooth? You will need a connection from the TV to the stereo in order to have TV sound through the speakers.

Oh hey Carl! It’s nice to have you back advising me. Thank you! Here are some pictures of the wires from the three small speakers revealed (upon removing the screen). They go through a small hole in the wood.

On my 2007 the speaker wires went to the DVD player/sound system above the TV. And the TV did not play thru those speakers. The speakers only worked when watching a DVD.
But I added a cable from the audio output connector on my TV to the AUX input connector on my sound system. Then when I turned on the TV I had to also turn on the sound system and choose AUX input mode. And the TV would play thru the sound system.
