Are Sailun 15" Not a Good Replacement

I'm replacing GY Endurance with an F-rated tire. Not sure I want the expense of moving to 16". Cannot find any reviews on the 15" Sailun but all the tire shops I've visited tell me the Sailun is a 2nd rate mid level tire. Want to sell me Carlisle, Gladiator (never heard of that one), Transeagle, Hartland, or some brand "X". I found the Sailun ST225/75R15 online @ Walmart. Was $176. Now just $111. That looks just wrong...

Just had a internal separation on a 3.5yo GY Endurance, not overloaded or speeding. ~9,000 miles on tire. running at 86psi and 90°. When I got into camp, TPM alarmed, showed 70PSI. Put on the 3yo Westlake spare to take GY into Ft Davis to find leak. Next morning 63PSI. Tire guy showed me bulge in tread indicating separation. Got a spare g-rated that the "ranchers" had good service from so I did not drive the 700+ miles on the Westlake.
My weights are fine. Run 65mph.

The great price on those tires was definitely a mistake - flagged by their policy review team. It shows $195 also in another page.

You may be hard pressed to find an answer on a Montana forum when you are referring to a Grand Design RV. What does the RV weigh (loaded, preferably scaled to know) and what wheels came with the RV?

The sob trailer (sorry, we could not find a 30' replacement for our 3791) was/is running GY Endurance st225/75r15 rated at ~2,800#.

Loaded and weighed each tire - fr=1,650, rr=1,875, lf=1,525, lr=1,375 as in the image in post #1. Pin/hitch is at 1,125 so total is 7,550#.

I came back to this forum after being a Montana owner for ~4years using Sailun tires. Trying to find any reviews on the 15" Sailun. I liked the G-rated that were on the 3791. Moving to an F-rated from the GY Endurance E-rated.

Sorry if I offended anyone by posting here asking for reviews On Sailun tires.

Looks like I'll be getting:
Carlisle CSL 16 ST225 /75 R15 120M F1 BSW - 101686 at $191.86 each.

No problem re posting. It is just, like you, most of us have no real knowledge about 15" tires and E or F ratings.

IMO , why wouldn't that F rated S637 Sailun not have the same service ,and dependability . What I am thinking is they build our 16" S637's , looks to me like, what they are thinking ,why not build that ire for the 15" crowd . I know guys that have run the Sailun Terramax truck tire ,and had good service out of them .

Knowing what I know about Sailun ,would not hesitate to run their S637 15" F rated ST trailer tire . Same tread pattern as our 16" S637's .
