We should be getting our Mountaineer 315RLS within the next few days if the dealer can locate where it is 
. More than 50% of the time we'll be boondocking with it.
I've had conversations with the Keystone folks regarding generator prep or installs for TTs and unlike 5th wheels there is no option for TTs. I've been given this a lot of thought and see 2 options that are external, 1) buy and lug around a portable and the gas to go with it (UGLY), 2) mount the generator in a custom case in place of the spare tire under my van and tie the exhaust into the van's and take the gas feed from the van as well. Second option is pretty cool but now leaves me looking for a place for my van's spare tire :-(.
So my question. Has anybody installed an LP feed generator into a Mountaineer TT and if so can you share some of the details of how you may have done this?
