CONGRADS !!! OCTOMBER 1, 2014 for us. Yes planning for retirement is stressful. We were planning on retiring 2009. The Oct 2008 crash came along and we lost BIG in the stock market. We are almost back to the 2008 level. We can now add SS to our income to make things easier. Our kids and their families are in a better place now. Less concern about them. I gave my boss notice in 08 for a 09 retirement. I'm glad he doesn't like training new managers. Waiting 5 more years was a good move on our part. One good thing about waiting is more improvements to the RV'S such as the level up system was added to Montana's.

I retired at 56 from two separate careers, and have not missed a day of work since! For me the first few days were strange as I adjusted to having no responsibilities except to my family and complete freedom from any schedules. Congrats.
