Members are discussing whether the hitch height on a 2021 Keystone Montana 3121RL should be adjusted to match a 2025 F350 with a sliding Curt Q20 hitch, given a measured difference of about 4.5 inches between the truck bed (53") and the trailer (48.5"). The original poster is concerned about expected truck sag (2–4 inches) once hitched and whether this will naturally align the setup or if adjustments are needed.

Experienced RVers share that their F350s typically squat between 1.5" and...

My question is whether I can raise the hitch at the dealer on my 2021 Keystone Montana 3121RL? I’m reading about expection of 2 to 4 inches of sag on the truck so it might be perfect already ?
We have a 2016 F350 dually with a 2019 3130re.
When we hitch it squats about 1.5" to 2"
Height from the ground to the top of the forward AC unit is 13'4".
Yikes ! I guess I never thought of height issues pulling a TT , good to know and think about . So I’m within 1-1\2 to 2” of perfect as is? Maybe an inch as my 350 is not a dually ?
Thanks for the answer .
You may not have to adjust much. Our ‘21 F350 SRW squats about 4” with a 3250 lb load (150 lb hitch + 3100 lb pin). I moved the pinbox to the uppermost bolts and now have 7” of clearance between the trailer and top of the bed box. (As with the overall height, keep the bed clearance in mind too.)
You might want to load you trailer with all your gear before adjusting the final height of your hitch and/or pinbox. We run about 15,300 lbs and the 3100 lb pin weight is about 20% of that.
