I have a 2018 Montana 35’ that was pre wired for a generator and there’s an electric box in the cargo bay to wire the generator into (I don’t have an onboard generator), I’m wondering if I can use a power station 30amp AC output for power when I’m not using my portable 50 amp generator that is plugged into 50 amp plug at back of my camper?

Yes.
I installed an ATS then wired our 3000w inverter into it.

Here's a good video explaining the wiring

Thanks! I think my camper is pre wired for a generator so I’m hoping it already has a transfer switch installed.

Our 2022 Montana 3121RL was prewired for a generator and included the transfer switch. The switch is located behind the door side left cargo area panel (behind the interior stairs) and connected to the electrical box mounted on the ceiling of the cargo bay. A power station will attach just like a gas generator and you should be able to wire a 30 or 50 amp cord from the electrical box to your power station. The only possible issue that is easy to overcome could be an open ground error when attaching the portable gas generator.

Thank you Freedom22 for your input, I’m going up to my property this next weekend and I will check it out!
