When a Montana comes from the factory with 1 A/C on the living room and the bedroom is wired & framed for a ducted 2nd A/C and it has the Comfort Control Center 2 Thermostat is the living room A/C zone 1 or zone 2 on the Control? If you have the 2nd A/C installed in the bedroom later is that zone 2 or is there a zone number change?

Frank,
Ours came from the factory with one A/C and at that time Zone 1 was the living area which controlled the furnace and A/C there. Later we had a 2nd A/C added to the bedroom and it became Zone 1 and the living area became Zone 2 which is now the only zone that controls the furnace. We do not have the same thermostat as you do though, we have the Comfort Control Center like in the picture below.

Hope this helps,
Jack

Jack,
Thanks. At some point we'll add a 2nd AC. Good info! :D
You have the same control as we do.

Wow, I guess it is up to whoever wires the A/C unit/s on any particular day or how the installer feels at that specific time! [}:)];)

I would suppose you could swap them if you wanted to change them. Wouldn't it be a matter of swapping what's in position two with the wires from position one?

For me, the Unit #2 control is moot since the front A/C does not have any provision for running the control wires to the thermostat. Unless I wanted to work much harder or pay a higher price, I would have to fish these wires appropriately. Alas, I will be lazy and cheap and just buy an independent unit that just aims down into the bedroom and any left over cooled air can creep into the rear part ot the Monty to help out the rear unit.

Whatever works.

Just another reason Keystone won't supply a wiring diagram. Ours is living room is zone 1 and bedroom zone 2.

On our 2013 3750FL (Front Living room), the thermostat is a Comfort Control II (next generation of the ones shown in the above posts). Zone 1, the one that also controls the Heat is the Bedroom, and Zone 2 (Cool Only) is the Living room.

From my understanding of the installation instructions, the Thermostat is some sort of serial hookup and each A/C Unit has switches to set the Zone Number. I also think, the Heat wires are connected to the board in the Zone 1 Unit.

This would imply that the Zone settings can not be changed without moving the Heat control wires.

Just my two cents...
