Hello Group,

After looking at several floor plans the wife has settled on a 3150RL. My question is this. 2 different dealers have sent me pricing info, they are equipped the same except one has the 2nd a/c.

Both have the new bedroom layout of the w/d in the center of the closet and the full wall dresser. Both are 2013 3150RL

One shows a list of $81,301 (one a/c) and the other shows a list of $67,405 (two a/c's) All the rest of the options are exactly the same.

The options include:
3 force options, Moving to Mt., FT Living, Paramount
Mor/Ryde Hitch
6 pt auto level
King bed
End Table/lamp
Hi Back chair w/step ladder
2 Leather Recliners
Leather HAB
Cent Vac
Elec fireplace
RVIA seal

The 14's are already hitting the lots. In a matter of days or weeks this will be a year old rig.

Those of you in the know, what would be a reasonable offer on these "identical" rigs? No trade, outright sale. I am thinking of around $45-48K???

Thanks Jim
PM me if you want....

Also something to remember is that many insurance policies for our rigs will replace a 5er, even if it costs more than you paid for it, in the first 5 model years, so if you buy a 2014, you will be good untIl 2019. Now, you probably, and hopefully, won't have a total loss. Just an FYI.

I bet you can get one heck of a deal from Lazy Days. We did.

The dealer in Michigan said they had $5,500 rebates from Montana to move the 2013 models.

Try Larry. At the very least he's someone you can trust. We bought a 2010 new when the 2012's were coming out and paid a good deal less for it than for our truck so you should be able to get a good deal. Michael is right, but not completely. My vehicles are with progressive but our rig is with Blue Sky. The reason is what Michael said. Progressive wouldn't go long term on replacement whereas our policy does. That's just another complication to this life style, but once you get it all worked out it's smooth sailing from then on.

Larry, Ck your E mail. I sent you my contact info. I plan on making a decision by noon today, I hope. Jim

Sounds like you can get a lower price than mentioned.
Try Dean's RV in Tulsa, OK. We got a great deal on our 2010 3150RL and they have a great service department. They threw in our 16K slider hitch, and several hundred to purchase needed stuff from their store.

I have no message on my email. You have my phone number, please call. I will compete, no problem. Would you like a 14 for a similar price?

We purchased a 3150RL equipped exactly like the ones you are looking at with one a/c. The sticker was $59,605 and we paid $40k difference and gave them our 2000 Discovery Hitchhiker which I valued at 10 to 12 thousand. If you can get it for $48k I would say you got a very good price. We purchased ours in February.

Will you pay $65,500.00? Please reply by phone.

hey, our 3150 2010 is on the lakeshore lot....very good condition....should be priced around $35K.

recommend you do not get the king size bed...really tooooo tight by night stands.
2 a/c a must as well as the 6 point leveling system (our 2010 did not have it). the folding step/chair is a waste of money.

also, there was a difference between the before oct, 2012 2013 montanas and the ones built AFTER oct 2012....

I'll try and answer. All 3150RL built after 9/24/12 and vin 701069 will have the washer area in the center of the front closet. There will be a full wall dresser at the end of the bed. The Hickory Package is gone. Cherry wood, solid wood stiles are standard. There are 3 option packages, Moving to Montana, Full Time Living, and Paramount. All 3 are forced packages. The 2014 models will have different color fabric, but I have not seen those yet.

The Full Time Living Package is mis-leading. In the 84 page Keystone Owners Manual they specifically say their products are designed for short term use.

FYI: The remaining 2013's have a $5,500 rebate and the early 2014's have a $2,500 rebate.

The local dealer, tried to bump me $2K today on a '13, so the search continues. But all is not lost, the wife now knows exactly what she wants. We may just order a '14. Thanks for all the referrals.

Try Tiara RV Sales and Service | 3260 Cassopolis St., Elkhart, Indiana 46514 | It will be worth the drive.

I contacted several of the mentioned dealers. Jim @ Tiara called the plant. They had 2 2014 3150RL that were built units for stock and equipped pretty close to what we wanted. Had 2 options we did not want, but can deal with that. Should be @ Tiara tomorrow and ready Friday or Monday. They need to do the PDI and install a Splendede in the front closet.

Absolutely the best price around and Jim has years in the industry, easy to work with.

Thanks for the lead to them.

Jim

In reading Keystone info, the new interior trims or window treatments are all changed.
The new ones are Carbon, Copper Patina and Mocha. The Blackthorn interior window trim is discontinued. Carbon looks similar to the Blackthorn trim. Cooper Patina has a southwest look to it. FYI.
