The 2027 Rocky Mountain Region Rally will be held at the Sun Outdoors - Rocky Mountains in Granby, Colorado. The rally will start on Thursday, June 24th for seven nights, leaving on Thursday, July 1st.

The Sun Outdoors - Rocky Mountains is a beautiful resort surrounded by the picturesque beauty of the Colorado mountains. The resort is located between Granby and Grand Lake, Colorado. This is truly a resort experience. The resort has an on-site swimming pool, hot tubs, two restaurants, convenience store, gift shop, exercise room, recreational lake, pickleball court, cornhole, putting green, mini bowling, arcade, and more. Consider bringing your bikes or renting a golf cart. All of our sites will be together, but they are a small distance to the resort’s other amenities, although it is all within walking distance. There is some parking available. If you would like to rent a golf cart, golf carts should be reserved as they will be hard to come by once you arrive at the resort. Look at the website to determine what is best for you.

During the rally, we will have different activities planned and you will also have plenty of time to explore on your own. The area offers many different attractions including Rocky Mountain National Park, Granby Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake, Grand Lake, Hot Sulphur Springs, Winter Park, and more.

How To Make Reservations
Call 970-557-0200
.
  • Select Option 4: It states, “if you are on site”, but this is the Welcome Center.
  • Then select Option 5: If you reach their voice mail make sure you leave a message with your name and phone number. They will return your call as soon as they are available. They do this so you don't get transferred to their Corporate Call Center. This may take a few days for them to return your call, but they will eventually return your call. They are extremely busy during the summer.
  • Please mention that you are part of the Montana Owner’s Club Rally.
  • A deposit of 50% of the reservation is required when booking. You can pay the remaining through your confirmation email or upon arrival.
  • Cancellation policy: 14 days prior to arrival date - 100% refund; Within 14 days of arrival date – your deposit will be forfeited.
We have reserved 35 sites. The sites they reserved for us are 301-306 and 309-337. Look at the campground map and/or pictures and videos online to determine where you want to be. The cost per site varies depending on if you get a Premium Lake Back-In (Sites 301-306), Deluxe Back-In (Sites 310, 318, 319, 322, 326, 332, 335) or Standard Back-In. They are giving us the weekly discount of 20% and waiving the site lock fee. You may stay as many days as you want at the discounted rate. If you want a specific spot and/or to be next to a friend, please make sure you know what site they are in when you make your reservations because the resort will not give you that information. Site arrangements are between you and the Resort. We have no control over site arrangements. You can see resort information at RV Resort in Granby, CO - Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountains. Please refer to the resort website for all rules and regulations prior to booking your site.

All sites must be reserved by March 24, 2027, after that date all remaining reserved sites will be released, and you will have to pay a site lock fee. If you need to cancel for any reason, please let us know so we can update our list.

Once you have made your reservation, please respond via email to
2027mocrmrr@gmail.com with the following information:
  1. Your name (first, last & spouse/partners first, last)
  2. A current picture of you and your spouse/partner, preferably a head shot.
  3. MOC name & MOC number
  4. Address, City, State, Zip
  5. Email
  6. Cell Phone #
  7. Site #
  8. Arrival and Departure Dates
  9. T-Shirt Sizes (These are sold as unisex/men’s shirts)
  10. Did you or your spouse/partner serve in the armed forces and what branch?
There is a $60 rally fee per RV. If you would like to participate in the boat ride on Shadow Mountain Lake and Grand Lake, please include an additional $62 per person. We will be renting several pontoon boats for our group. Your rally fee plus boat fees needs to be mailed in to reserve your spot. All fees will be refunded to you if you cancel prior to March 1st. After March 1st, all fees collected will be non-refundable. Please send your money by CashApp to $LloydHartle OR send your check or money order to

We will be sending an itinerary the closer we get to the rally. We will let you know when each group activity is scheduled. When we give you the dates, you will need to order tickets online for the Repertory Theatre and the Granby Rodeo. Please remember that all activities are optional.

Rocky Mountain National Park is a timed entry park, and you will need a separate timed entry pass for Bear Lake, Nymph Lake, Dream Lake and Emerald Lake. Bear Lake is beautiful and is an easy walk. Nymph Lake, Dream Lake and Emerald Lake are hikes beyond Bear Lake that gradually get harder the higher you go. You need to be in hiking shape for those. Also, Adams Falls is part of RMNP even though you access it from the town of Grand Lake. This is a short, easy hike. You will need a timed entry pass for this because the park service does monitor it at certain times.

If you want to take one of the tours at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, you will want to make reservations ahead of time. It will take 1 ½ to 2 hours to drive to Estes Park over Trail Ridge Road, depending on the traffic.

Please pay attention to this forum post for updates and information. We will also send periodic emails from the above email address.

We look forward to seeing you in Colorado in 2027.

Thinking about this...
We have a mega trip planned to hit 3 MOC rallies in 2027, this might work as number 4!
Western States is June 15-22 in West Yellowstone followed by Independence Days celebrations in Belle Fourche, SD, but the RMR is about a 9-10 hour drive over two days to hit Granby by the 24th, and we could still hit SD by July 2.

We would park the rig in Rapid City for 5-6 weeks, fly home and then back in mid-August for the Fall and Great Lakes rallies in September. A little over our usual 4&4 travel plans, but why not!

Don’t forget CPRR in Nebraska early July. It has been going almost as long as the national rally.

We'd love to have you. You would have 3 travel days to get there. We won't start rally activities until around 5pm on June 24th. We have some that are attending both.

We are on Site #322. They said we would need to call back next year to get the weekly rate because it isn’t set yet.

You're the second person that has said this. I was told that the 20% was automatic when booking 7 nights or more and they put the 10% in addition. That is good news if we can get a cheaper rate. We will see.

We’re signed up in Space 335, from June 24th, after the Western Regional, and leaving July 1st. Not too bad, $648.32, looking forward to it!

We are signed up and looking forward to exploring the area. We arrive on 23 June from the western rally and will be staying until 5 July before heading back to Texas. We are in site #336. We were told to call after the first of the year to get the updated weekly rate that could change.

We're in! We sent our email and have site 105 reserved. we'll be taking 3 days to travel from the WRR in West Yellowstone. After the RMRR we're headed to the Black Hills and Belle Fourche SD for the Independence Day festivities.
