2025 WRSR - Baggie Breakfast Signup

2025 - Hermosa – Heartland RV Park - Baggy Breakfast
________________________________________
Baggie Breakfast is scheduled for Monday June 23rd, at 8:00 AM

The Baggie Breakfast is a MOC tradition of placing raw eggs in a Ziploc bag with a bunch of other ingredients and boiling it in hot water to make an omelet, goes way back. Bring your own 1 quart “freezer style” Ziploc bag and 1, 2 or 3 eggs. You will then add additional ingredients that will be available for you to place in your bag. Pass it on to the chefs who will cook it to perfection. Bring your own plate and utensils. Other breakfast items will also be available

Instructions to prepare the baggie follows:

1. Write your name and the number of eggs that are in the baggie with a black sharpie.
2. Prepare the eggs as if you were going to cook some scramble eggs.
(YES - you must crack eggs first before putting in bag)
3. Locate the table with all of the donated ingredients.
4. Place all of your favorite ingredients in the bag with your eggs.
5. Give the prepared baggie to those that will cook it for you.

We will need the following items to be donated: omelet ingredients, side dishes, drinks and large pots/cookers.

I have to admit that I had to Google it! I hope it's the Philippine dish and NOT the Spanish translation. :)
Hahaha… Puto is what we called in the Philippines as
Steamed little cupcakes. It’s on the sweet buttery side. Texture is soft like a pancake.
There’s different versions of Puto like made from ground rice, with cheese toppings, shredded coconuts, salted eggs…
