Be aware that AZ is doing highway repaving on I-10 near Quartzite. Delays today for west bound traffic were up to 4 hours. East bound paving is occurring after Quartzsite and had no delay today.
West bound MOCers headed to Quartzsite should consider alternative routes. Either I-8 to Yuma and then north on Hwy-95 *OR* Take Hwy-60 from Phoenix (go north on Hwy-303 to connect to Hwy-60 West. Do not take Hwy-60 to I-10 as you will be right in the middle of the paving mess. Take Hwy-72 to Bouse and then west on Plamosa Rd. to the Circle turn off.
