2025 Montana 3532SP Water Heater Electric Switch Location

Scratching my head…
We just purchased a 2025 Montana 3532SP and I can’t find the on/off switch for the electric side of the water heater. Everything I find online and in my manual says it is a rocker switch located on the water heater face in the lower left corner but there is nothing there. There’s also nothing on the interior control panel. I can’t find it anywhere. Does anyone have any insight on where it might be?

The manufacturer eliminated the rocker ON/Off switch a couple of years ago. Because there should be a 12V switch inside that trips the relay on the side of the WH that allows 120V to flow to the WH.

That was a good move! I replaced mine twice... never use it anyway.

I turn the 120V element on and off with the breaker. Not convenient but it works. When I run out of other projects I will install a switch near the 12VDC (propane) switch for the water heater. 120VAC switch will have a pilot lamp indicating when it is on. Always fearful of frying my element with an empty water heater.
