2024 331RL Interior Modifications

Just purchase a 2023 331 RL and I was looking to do some interior modifications, to maximize storage.
Possible changes are:
-Removing fixed panel on Bedroom Closet
-Adding Dresser space (we are going to install a stackable Washer/Dryer and will be removing the existing door, which will give us additional wall space)
-Adding an access hinged door in the floor area outside the bathroom door, for a clothes hamper
Any suggestions or comments are welcome.

Depending on how yours is configured, we noticed on some of the newer models that the bathroom does not have upper cabinets.

Our ‘21 has a panel in the bath lower cabinet where a drawer or cubby could be added. The sink plumbing runs there but a 4 1/2” H x 12” deep area is available.

The fake wall under our kitchen island that hides the plumbing could be taken out or moved back to make more room.

There was a post recently where a member removed the metal walls that isolate the onboard generator. It opened up a pretty impressive amount of general storage space.

Re your floor hamper idea, you might want to remove the vents on the stairs or a wall panel in the storage area so you know where the joists and equipment are.

On 2023 311rd, I modified the wood grille on the two steps and set them in deeper to allow for shoe storage under each step. I think new ones are doing this now

Everything you addressed is doable. When disassembling something, pay close attention that nothing structural is being affected. Have fun with your modifications and happy camping!

Under the stairs (shoe storage), behind the circuit breaker panel (coffee bar).
Behind the basement walls there is a huge amount of space, although to make it usable would require so.e Re-plumbing and rewiring (it's a mess back there).
