2022 Montana 3231CK Slides Won't Fully Close

Oddly, my two slide outs descided to not fully close. Batteries fully charged, trued it plugged in and on battery, nothing blocking it ... according to ChatGPT, there isn't an adjustment underneath ? Is that true? it's got a gap of about 1" ... any advice would be greatly appreciated

What year and model is your Montana? What type of slide (hydraulic, cable or Schwintek) are we talking about.

He has a 2022 3231CK. I think he is talking about the living room hydraulic slides won’t close.

There is lateral adjustment for these slides. The end of the hydraulic ram is threaded with a nut and a jamb nut for adjustment in or out. However, if this an occasional or one-off occurrence, I doubt it needs this adjustment. Likely something to do with hydraulic system controls and/or pumps…not my area of expertise. Hopefully someone here can offer advice.

If this is a one-off, then I recommend;

#1 - Rechecking the interior to ensure that there is nothing blocking the slides such as an open cabinet door, couch out of position, etc. It appears to me, based on the sketch above, that you can be inside to watch the unit closing up. the smallest of obstructions can cause the biggest headache. Be certain to check the top of the slides too!

#2 - Checking the fluid level for the hydraulic pump and then then cycling the slides. It could be a low fluid issue or debris in the lines.

If this is a consistent problem from the first day of ownership, then there is an adjustment underneath as suggested by mikendebbie. I, too, doubt this is the problem since both slides have this issue.

This is an interesting problem, and I would be curious to know the cause.
