Well, this is certainly not what we had planned for this spring, but things just fell into place. We were timesharing in Myrtle Beach in May and stopped into the Camping World to browse. We went through ALL the inventory, including used, and took a liking to the Montana High Country 343. After talking to the sales person, we were more interested as he gave us a trade value for the '05. After mulling it over for a few days, we decided that we would not want to leave the MONTANA line. At the fall rally, we toured the 3100RL and really like the floor plan. So, I searched all the inventory lists and found a 2013 3100RL with the new upgrades in Syracuse, New York which is fairly close to us. Myrtle Beach did not have any 3100's. I contacted Larry (HOOK) and he felt it was a very fair price on the unit,(THANK YOU LARRY!!!), not much more than the MHC 343. So, we negotiated with them on the phone and completed the deal once we returned home and saw the unit in person. It is now parked in the yard.
Our first time out will be Father's Day weekend with my son, daughter-in-law and the new grandson!! What a way to spend Father's Day.
