We have a 2007 Montana 3400RL that we purchased new. We lived in it for 18 months while waiting for our current stick & brick house to be built. We have only taken it on six trips over the years, two to the Gulf Coast (nice RV park, NOT the beach), to Chama, NM, Las Vegas, NV, Cambria, WI, and to Las Cruces, NM last October. Other than that it has been stored under cover at an RV storage lot. It has been totally upgraded and impeccably maintained. Kitchen, linens, etc. are as well stocked as most homes. Bays contain everything needed for travel except a tire inflator. I am a retired veterinarian who is anal about "preventive medicine". We have spent about $20K in just the last year for a new roof (RV Flex Armor), replacing all of the hydraulics and cylinders for the slides and the Level Up, and last December two new AC's. The shower is plenty large enough for us, but after the trip to Las Cruces we realize that we need grab bars in the shower, and there is no way to install them in this RV. We are selling to take a break for a year, and then look for something in another fifth wheel or a Super C that we would be comfortable in. It has never had an insurance claim. We can get a tax deduction by donating it, but we would like to see it go to someone who is trying to get into RVing (like maybe kids/relatives of a MOC'er). I would be happy to send a list of the maintenance and upgrades we have done and a partial list of the contents. I am sure the contents would be several $K to replace. We will take $25K for it as is. My name is Johnny Johnson, my email is jrjohnson121852@gmail.com, and my cell is 210-508-0233. I have a spam blocker on my phone, so if you call it will go to voice mail and I will call you back.
I have purchased a new Tundra, so my 2015 Ford F350 SuperDuty F350 SRW Platinum will go too, but not until I have a buyer for the trailer. I need it to pull the trailer out of the covered storage to show it to someone. 78K miles. Impeccable maintained as well. Synthetics from 5K original miles. I have a list as well of the maintenance and upgrades for it as well I could send.
When I shopped for a replacement truck, I priced what this truck would cost to replace new, and it would be well over $100K. The addons I have put on it would add another $10K. Based on similar trucks that have sold on AutoTrader this truck should easily be worth $50K.
So, someone (like a young family) could get into RVing with a great truck and trailer and all they would have to do is load their clothes and food for a total of $75K.
