There's a fuse someplace. What year model RV do you have?

Sorry your not getting much help. So tell what you know. Have you checked anything with a multimeter and what results? There will be a fuse in the main fuse panel if factory.
Switches have power to them?
Need information for anyone to have a clue.

Yup going to check the switches, not sure how to check or disconnect the lights at the wireless controller. Seems like there's some connectivity issues reported using remote switch.

Madhat - from ~2016/2017 and up models (I think?) the scare light is controlled on the InCommand touch screen. Your model has a rocker switch. Pop the switch out and check continuity there.

Scare light
OK, thought it was a typo or auto correct at first, but apparently not. What's a "scare" light?

These lights are security lights - also called scare lights I think.
Mine are controlled by the InCommand panel.

in our 2006 there is a switch on the panel inside for flood lights. It controls those lights.

If you can’t find a external fuse,You might pull the switch panel off and check and see if it has an inline fuse at the switch connection, my 2020 3121 awning motor fuses are behind the switch panel.

The 2008 likely does not have the InCommand. My 2013 is a simple switch on the panel. Doublecheck your 12V fuses, and see if power is making it to the bulb socket with a multimeter. NOTE I have had fuses blown that didn't totally blow through the fuse, so they still had voltage but did not allow enough current. This happened twice on my Montana so far. So, start playing the Move The Fuse game to see if that helps.

Rm-- Does your 3500 have a remote to be able to open the slides and turn on the lights? If so, this could be your answer to your problem. Whether used or if it's setting in a drawer it may have been bumped and the switch may have been turned off for the unit. This has happened quite a few times. If you go into the Archives here on the Forum you should be able to find posts concerning the remotes. If you do not have a remote, then I would definitely pull the panel board and check the switch on it for the lights.

Here are some links that you need to read. The remote control "brain" is likely the source of your problem. Come back after you read this stuff if it doesn't help.

Thanks for the links, we do have a remote and the panel board is similar to the one shown where the ground was relocated off the panel to a direct frame ground. However the pics don't show which ground connection was moved. Also mentioned was a ground for the direct to switches but doesn't describe where that connection is. ???

You want to move the connections from the top of the "brain" that are labeled "To Manual Switches". The Ground (marked with a "-") should be grounded to the frame wherever it is convenient. Sometimes that doesn't cure the problem. Then move the Positive wire (marked with a "+") to a 12V source (the load side of a 12V self-resetting circuit breaker is a good choice). Now the manual switches should operate independently of the remote control system.

How about a jumper from the + on power to the + on manual switches?

12V is 12V so I think that will work. I just haven't done it that way.

looks like the ground was already moved on the switches connections. Both the remote and the switches work for the slides in the motherbords current configuration. So Im probably looking for a fuse or connection problem but Ill jump the 12v connection just to make sure the issue isn't at the motherboard for the light circuit.
