Best Trip Planner
Do any of you use online trip planners and if so which is the best in your opinion? We are looking at traveling to Grand Canyon next summer from north Georgia.

I have been using RV Trip Wizard for the last year or so and I am finding it works well for me.

I used RV trip planner for our recent trip for the first time and it was easy. Use the trip summary to plug in the address of the next campground. I used apple airplay googlemaps and i have a Garmin RV gps.
The challenge we have is finding places to eat along the way that have adequate parking with easy access. With me, DW + two dogs we have four bladders and different times that our hunger alarms go off...actually the dogs needs are easier to manage than DW and me.

I have been using the RV Trip Planner to plan some trips for this winter. So far I like it and it is easy to use.

RV Trip Wizard also. One stop shopping - routes around low overpasses, find campgrounds, campground reviews, keep track of expenses, track mileage on RV Tires, find sights along the way. And you can try it for free. Web based so it works on any platform - phone, tablet or computer.

I have the old 2011 Trailer Life Campground Navigator. It used to partner with Goodsam Club and used their campground list and ratings. I still use it because I don't need the internet. Drawback is no new campgrounds and some roads/freeways are out of date.
Maybe Trip Planner does this too, but my program will find a campground withing your limits you set for travel time, etc. Put in the begin and end destination and it routes you along the way. I do have to go to RV campground reviews to see what is the best campground near where I want to stay tho. I like to limit my day to between 250 and 300 miles, so I just check the route for that area and search for a place to stay.
My biggest reason for staying with it is the no need for the net.

Yep, RV Trip Wizard as well. It's a fee based service but worth it to me.

RV Trip Wizard cost money. I am cheap.
I research areas I would like to visit and then plot my trip. Next I research campgrounds in those areas. Then I use Pilot/Flying J trip planner for the actual driving directions. The directions also list all the Pilot/Flying J's on that route. Been working for me for 18 years and it's free.

RV Trip Wizard here too. I just wish it was a little easier planning multi-day long distance trips. The zoom and expand are a little wonky for me.

I think there is a learning curve with RV Trip Wizard on multi-day jaunts. That said now that I've used it a few times, I like it quite a bit. BTW, I agree with the zoom in/out. It'd be nice if that worked more easily with the wheel on a mouse.

I start with Passport America, Sunday through Thursday at half price. Then I move on to Allstays which has good ratings and info but is not complete. I also use Campendium and Park Advisor.

I used RV Trip Wizard this year because of all the raves it had been getting. I don't like the $50 year fee though. I'd been using Goodsam Trip Planner which is very similar and was easier for me to use due to familiarity. But Good Sam Planner doesn't have the ability to enter the type/size of your RV (unless it's been added in the last two months) as does Trip Wizard. Trip Wizard seems to have campgrounds that don't pop up on Goodsam. But I like either. I have a Goodsam Life Membership so the planner becomes a freebie at this point.

The best for now is RV Trip planner IF you plan like I do which is have the planner tell me where I can stay given the parameters I entered like avg speed and hours driven. Many so called trip planners expect you to know where you will be staying and it simply shows you what is available. That doesn't work for me.

We also use www.rvparky.com. They have a website as well as apps for your phone. I use it in combination with a Garmin GPS for RVs. Works great for us and it’s free.
