2021 CDA Western Region Rally Craft Class Information

Thursday July 1st.... Craft Class!

Similar to what we did at the MOC fall Rally 2019, in the Craft area we will:

Create beautiful lighting for outside your RV. Joni and Margie will show you how to put simple solar lighting together. Class cost will be $7, which includes the mason jar, wire handle, metal lid and solar fairy lights.
Because they are for RVs, the mason jars are Clear plastic Jar containers designed with high chemical resistance and high impact resistance PET plastic.
Supplies Needed that you will bring along:
Glass Gems - approximately 100 glass gems (flat on one side) When selecting your glass gems, make sure one side is flat as this is needed to adhere to the glass jar. Note *** round marbles will not work for this project.

Waterproof adhesive: strong &clear such as gorilla glue, E6000, Power Tac.

Both gems and adhesives Supplies can be found at Michaels, Joanns, Hobby Lobby, Dollar Tree, etc.

We do need sign ups, so that we can have the right amount of jars etc available.

Also, we would like to know who will have sewing machines along, besides Margie and Joni.

So sorry to have to post this. My husband had a detached retina this week, along with surgery. They feel that his vision will be b lurry, not sure how much, after the 21 days of a "gas bubble" in his eye as part of the repair. I cannot take on the full driving to Idaho, so we will not make it and the craft for lanterns will be cancelled. I will miss you all and hope you have a fabulous time.

I have PMed Tumbleweeds to see what additional things are needed and any directions for assembly. I believe we have some people who would take it on if they can get the necessary information. With 16 people signed up I hate to see this be cancelled.
