Closet rod
Anybody with a solution for reinforcing the rod in the closet. One hanging support is coming out of the ceiling after the first big trip.

On our old rig I put in a regular rod and added more ceiling supports. One of the things we told the dealer when we bought our 2017 was that we didn't want it unless the rod was reenforced so they added three extra supports.

We just put a 1/2" black pipe in side of the original pipe or 3/4" what ever fits the best.

Our Montana has a closet along the entire rear wall. The cloths rack is supported from a shelf attached to the walls.
On our maiden voyage, the closet shelf broke completely from the wall. Found out there were only 4 screws holding the entire shelf in place, plus the entire width of the trailer full of hanging clothes. And those 4 screws were screwed into very thin paneling and behind that nothing but Styrofoam. And the screws didn't even hit studs.
I was shocked. Well after a couple trial and errors, I ended up laying a 1 x 10 board from the floor of the closet to the bottom of the shelf. I used Liquid Nails to hold it against the wall. I did this on both sides. Problem solved.
However, after a while, the middle of the cloths bar started sagging. It was pathetic.
I used another 1 x 10 and ran it from the floor to the cloths bar with a hole in it for the cloths bar to pass through and then on up a few inches higher to support the middle of the shelf. So, literally, the cloths bar is now resting on 3 - 1x10 boards run from the floor of the closet up. I used Thompson's water seal on the boards after sanding very fine and we've never had a problem again.
Suspending from the ceiling? The bar is going to break loose again. Don't waist your time doing it that way. Run a support from the floor of the closet up to the cloths bar and support the bar from this new board. Attach the boards to the wall with Liquid Nails, or some other wood construction glue.

Mine didn’t have support from the ceiling. I added a PVC “T” to support from the bottom. Attached the PVC to shelves using a metal flange. Spray painted it all brown before installing.

A piece of 1" rigid (metal) conduit works well. It used to be pretty cheap in a 10 foot length though probably isn't now. It is pretty solid without extra supports and is about the same OD (1-1/4") as many common S&B closet rods

Bedroom closet rod fix:
buy 1/2" (3/4" outside diameter) steel pipe same lenght as your rod. Buy new rod holders (current ones are plastic).
Alise 1-Inch Dia Shower Closet... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077HKCQW4...p_mob_ap_share
Remove the closet rod holders and rod from the closet. You have to cut off about 1" of the brown vinyl coating off the rod so the new rod holders will slide onto the rod. Wrap tape around the ends and middle of the steel pipe so it fits snugly inside the closet rod. Put the new steel rod holders on the rod and reinstall it in the closet.

Ours hasn't been an issue. But if it ever does, this is my solution. steel closet rod shouldn't need as much support.

Since our unit had the individual slots for hanging the hangers and not the rod, I went to one of the RV Salvage companies up north of Goshen while at one of the Fall Rallies and purchased the end holders for the rod, brackets to hang the rod from the original slotted hanger and the hollow rod itself. When I got home I took a couple of old brooms and cut the handles off and fit them into the hollow rod, put the clamps on the rod and hung it off the original closet rod. Now we can cram what ever we like into the closet and not have to worry about any weight bringing the rod down while traveling.

I have a different problem. On my HC, the closet rod is supported by the shelf, so the shelf is sagging. When I get "around to it", I am going to attach a piece of 1-1/2" square aluminum tubing, continuous the full width of the closet, behind the front edge trim of the shelf. Either that, or convince the DW to pack fewer clothes. I think I will go with the former.

Thanks Everyone!
Thanks for the replies. The support/brace seems like the way to go. In the middle of the night I actually had that thought too, my idea then, (without much thought) wasn’t as neat and clean as some of these recommendations.
Thanks again!
I am at the RV training center in Athen, TX this week for the Owner’s session. I’ll post my thoughts.

To close my loop on this one, Keystone sent me 2 additional rod supports which I installed. Additionally I removed the screw that backed out of the original support and reinstalled using the white glue/toothpick hack to fill the hole. Once dry I reinstalled the screws(s).
Since adding these mods, we have put about 13,000 miles (per the trip odometer in my TV) on the 3121 and nothing has moved. My closet rod now has 4 sections instead of 2.
