2021 MOC Western Region Rally-Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho
Dates
Wednesday, June 30 to Wednesday, July 7, 2021 (seven nights)
Yes, the rally will be over the July 4th holiday; Fireworks over the lake!
Location
Blackwell Island RV Park, Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho
http://idahorvpark.com/
Details
We have been fortunate enough to reserve 60 sites at Blackwell Island RV Park, Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. We do not expect to get any additional sites. Sites will be reserved based on the date we receive your registration form; once we reach 60, additional registration requests will go on a waiting list.
All of the sites are inland, most pull-thru, some back-in. Four of the 60 are for motor homes. There are no water front sites available for the rally. All of the sites are similar so we will not accept requests for specific sites or types of sites. There is a place on the registration form to let us know if you are traveling with others and want to be near them; no guarantee but we will try. Site assignments will be made by the resort in late spring 2021.
We do not have the 2021 price schedule yet, but the cost will be approximately $66 per night. This includes use of the clubhouse and kitchen for our entire stay.
The Blackwell Island staff will begin contacting people about March or April 2021 to confirm your reservation and collect the nightly fee.
The 2021 rally fee will be $20, payable when you sign in at Coeur d’Alene.
Wagon Masters
Scott & Alta Zenonian, Dan Huhn
Early Arrival or Extended Stay
There are only 15 sites available for those wanting to arrive early or stay longer. These will be assigned to the first 15 registrations that we receive requesting early/late arrival. There may be additional availability, but we will not know until late spring. Request additional days from Blackwell when they contact you. The park is booked up this time of year; don’t be disappointed if they cannot accommodate you.
The resort closes for the winter; re-opens April 1; don’t expect much to happen until then.
Registration procedure
Registration will be completed as a group, DO NOT CALL THE RESORT!
To reserve one of these sites, you must follow these procedures.
Registration status can be checked at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
Site assignments will be made by the resort in late spring.
Payment procedure
You will be contacted by the resort for payment.
You will pay the $20 rally fee when you sign in with the MOC staff.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and refunds will be processed by the Blackwell Island staff. If you cancel, please notify us via email so we can update the roster.

As of 11/20/20 we have reached our limit of 15 early arrivals. If you want an early arrival, please continue to submit your request and we will put you on a wait list. When Blackwell Island starts processing registrations in late spring, they will contact each guest and let you know if they can accommodate additional days.
We still have a few late departure slots.

Late departure
We would like to stay one extra night. Does this put us on the wait list?

Things are starting to happen!
So far, we have 43 members registered. I just got a call from our contact at Blackwell Island and she is starting to work on the reservations. Good news; she confirmed she can accommodate everyone who has requested early arrival or late departure. At some point, you will get a call from the resort to confirm and apply a credit card number.
She said everything around Coeur d'Alene is open and the summer will be busy. We will start working on the rally activities asap. If you are planning to do activities on your own around Coeur d'Alene (boat tour, golf, para sail, boat rental, float plane ride, etc) now would be a good time to make your reservations.
We still have 17 spaces available for the rally dates (6/30 - 7/7). If you are thinking about attending, we need to know asap. Any sites that we have not filled by MAY 15 will be released. The resort is already full and has a wait list, so once these spaces are released chances of getting in are slim to none. If you want to register, follow the procedure outlined in post 1. Note; the resort has a 4 day minimum over the holiday.
Registration status can be checked at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing Let me know if you see any discrepancies.
We are excited about heading to Idaho and seeing everyone again.
Safe Travels.

Scott - DW doesn't want to book anything until she sees the Rally Calendar, she doesn't want to miss anything but as Ron said, "As long as we get to visit."

We now have 5 sites remaining for the rally. These will be held until the May 15 cut off. Registration will be closed when these 5 sites are taken or May 15; whichever comes first.

Sandy: Neither you or Ed are on the registration list. As no money was needed until arrival or when the park calls to confirm your reservation, you are good. Too bad we will miss you once again.
