Firefox
Suddenly Firefox will not open Forum posts. I just get a "page not redirecting properly message." I've checked setting to allow cookies and tracking but still have the problem. Chrome seems to work. Any suggestions?

I'm using FireFox just fine. Is it out of date? Maybe restart your computer?

We've had several reports about this and are trying to run down the issue - it seems to be associated with recent Firefox updates.
Maybe you can help out with some info:
Are you using a private browsing tab?
What sort extensions or add-ins do you have loaded?
What do your privacy settings look like (in Firefox)?

F.Y.I. I am running FF 72.0.1 (64-bit) and it is working fine. There is a 77.0.2 release update awaiting installation. I think I will wait and see what happens with this issue before proceeding.

I don't know of the top of my head, but there is a way to start Firefox with no extensions or plugins, I think. That would help to narrow it down a bit.

Using version 70.0.2. I don't use private tabs and I've given this forum an exception but doesn't seem to have fixed the problem. I have 3 extensions:
OpenH264 Video Codec,Shockwave Flash 32.0 r0, and
Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google
Thanks

Just updated yesterday to 72.0.2/64 bit. These are the fixes:
Version 72.0.2, first offered to Release channel users on January 20, 2020
Fixed
- Various stability fixes
- Fixed issues opening files with spaces in their path (bug 1601905)
- Fixed a hang opening about:logins when a master password is set (bug 1606992)
- Fixed a web compatibility issue with CSS Shadow Parts which shipped in Firefox 72 (bug 1604989)
- Fixed inconsistent playback performance for fullscreen 1080p videos on some systems (bug 1608485)
I think that the site opening issues may be hidden in their jargon. I've not had any problems as Firefox has operated pretty seamlessly since Ver 2.0.0 for me.

Safe mode. A few ways to start it. Try opening the run box (Windows key + R) and type firefox -safe-mode.

I'm using FF 72.0.2 (64 bit) without problems. When was the last time you did a cleanup on your computer? One simple fix that can resolve many browser problems is to clean up the browsing & download history, cache & cookies. Under the History menu, select "Clear Recent History". A window opens that shows what will be cleared. Under History, leave the five boxes checked. Under Data, the two boxes can be unchecked. Click "Clear Now". After doing this clear operations, on sites that you log into, if you are accustomed to having usernames auto populate, you will have to reenter them the first time you log in. All else should work fine. Good Luck.
