Ice maker
My neighbor has a 2020 Avalanche 4 slides and residential fridge. During some warranty work it was winterized. We cannot find the valve to feed the ice maker. Anyone know where Keystone hid it? Thanks in advance.

We have two on our 2018 3721rl.One is in the cabinet of the center island{under the kitchen sink}.The other is under the stove. You have to remove the bottom drawer completely. You need really long arms to reach the second valve.Good luck.I hope this helps.

Our 3791RD also has 2 valves. One under the kitchen sink as stated above and the other is behind the lower cabinet between the stove and refrigerator. I had to remove the paneling behind the drawer and cabinet to find it. Others have found theirs inside the pantry. HTH.

Our 375FL has 2 valves also... one under the kitchen sink, one behind a small "box", (carpeted for camouflage). right nest to (as in touching) a live 120volt shore power junction box. This valve in in the dinette area, next to the divider wall between the dinette and the res. fridge

2020 3121 RL. One under the sink in the island and the other is behind a panel in the lower cabinet left of the fridge. 4 screws hold the panel on.

Generally when winterizing you only shut off the valve under the sink. The one behind a drawer or panel is where they transition from pex to 1/4" ice maker water line. After shutting of the one under the sink you should find a drain under the rig at a low point to drain any water out of the line. That's all you need do. You don't want antifreeze in that line.

In my case, it was turned off from the factory. Once i turned it on i replaced the panel. Mine does have a drain under the slide where the fridge is located, so as you stated I winterize by just draining the line. No antifreeze in the ice maker.

Mine was also turned off from the factory. I couldn't get icemaker to cycle and the dealer was no help either, said I had to call Samsung for service. I could hear the ice maker operate, just no water. After several hours searching I located the second shutoff after removing a Kitchen drawer. When I turned it on I get a bath. The installer had crushed the ferrule on the tubing and just shut it off as a solution. Ten minute, 10 cent fix. The first of many new RV lessons.

I was lucky I found and joined this site before we took possession of our Monte. I read several posts about it and was somewhat prepared when the ice maker didn't work. Took a little while to find the second valve though.
Love this site. Very helpful information and I have found several posts that saved me considerable time and effort.

That's funny. By the time we had our PDI, I knew more about the unit than our tech did thanks to this site!

There are a LOT of folks on this website that really do know more than most so called RV techs!!! At least the ones at Sales dealerships.
Not trying to be ugly but if you look at the employees working at most SALES RV Dealers service departments they are all very young. I don't think I have seen one person over 30, with possible exception of a manager or two, at any of them I have visited.
By contrast, the employees at SERVICE ONLY businesses seem to run much older. Even if they are not "factory trained" they usually are mechanically inclined and able to figure out most issues far better than the 20 something's....

I found both valves in my 3721 2018. I turned both on, but water kept running. Is there a drain under slide that might be open, or maybe a broken line.

On my 2019 3791, there is a drain line directly under the kitchen island that is stubbed out of the coroplast just like the fresh water drain line. If the cap is missing, it could be draining on the ground underneath. Also, my fridge is in a slide, so there's a hose just like your home fridge would have under the slide that connects the fridge line to the second valve line underneath the slide out.
I re-plumbed mine to use a 4 gallon bottled water supply so both of those lines are dead in my unit. I hooked directly to the fridge with a small pump from the bottled water supply.

I went to turn on they ice maker from the valve underneath the kitchen sink, and when I did that it started pouring out a blue drain hose underneath they RV near they axels. Then I took off the panel in the cabinet beside the fridge and there is a valve there, but no matter what way I turn it it keeps coming out. The water is pressurized water not draining trickle out of that blue hose it stops when I turn off the valve underneath the sink.

There should be a cap on the drain line underneath. It drains the water in the line between the 2 valves. With the cap on, it won't drain. It will be the same type of cap as your fresh tank drain.
