2020 Western Region Spring Rally-Coeur d'Alene, Idaho-Registration

We'll be there unless we're told we can't. It's part of our long summer trip. So far no campgrounds have canceled on us. Hopefully we see a reduction in new cases real soon.

Rally Cancelled

Today we reluctantly made the decision to cancel the Western Region 2020 Rally in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. We tried, but conditions with the pandemic are not improving fast enough for us to comfortably hold a rally.

Some of you may still plan on visiting Coeur d’Alene; everyone must make their own decision. However, there will not be an official rally nor rally functions. Blackwell Island resort still has the sites set aside and, as previously planned, will be calling each individual to confirm their reservation. When they call, you can either cancel or confirm. You may also call them at (208) 665-1300. We do not need to know your decision, just let the resort know.

This has been a hard decision, but we think it will be best for all.

We hope to see everyone at the next rally. For planning purposes, we are in discussions with Blackwell Island to hold the 2021 Western Region Rally from 6/23/21 to 6/30/21 in Coeur d'Alene. If this works, the previously announced 2021 rally in Dolores Colorado will be pushed to 2022. Stay tuned for more information.

Good news. We have been able to secure reservations for Blackwell Island RV Park in Coeur d'Alene Idaho for the 2021 western region rally.

Mark your calendars: The rally dates are 6/30/21 to 7/7/21. This will allow everyone to enjoy the July 4th activities in the area.

We have re-scheduled the Dolores, Colorado rally to 6/8/22 to 6/15/22.

We are six months minimum before we start processing; I just wanted everyone to get it on their schedule. Don't worry, we have 60 sites reserved; there will be plenty of room.

Lora and I decided we are still going to Blackwell. Will be there from 6/23 to 7/07. Looking forward to the visit. If anyone else is still going to be in the area, look us up. We will be the ones in the Montana. LOL

What is the name of the rv park in Dolores CO, where the 2022 Rally will be held?

Westview RV Resort in Delores CO is the propsed location for 2022.


As for Blackwell, despite this years even being cancelled, there are some folks who kept their reservations. I know 5 or 6 rigs, including us, who plan to be there assuming things don't go crazy in the next week or so.

We might sign up for next year’s rally as I should be retired before then but we are still going to Coeur D-Alene and staying at Blackwell’s RV Park starting Wednesday the 24th.
