I've done winterizing the old fashion way - putting a littile antifreeze in a hose and blowing it in, and now the easy way - sucking it out of the jug so many times I could do it in my sleep. In fact, I'm sure my wife could do it in her sleep too. In fact, as the temperature drops below 32, I actually feel the day it's going to do damage. Don't need to go there again on tires as I have explained it a couple of times, they can just search for it. And yes I'm considering a rally. But when I give my opinion it's because I've had experience with that issue. I chose to fix it the best way possible and I attempt to explain it that way in my answers. But I agree with JAYBURKHOLDER. I've been camping since 1976. Maybe, some of us will be given your precious title post-humously. At that point it won't matter.

This was an amusing read. Presumably the "masters" have a lot more time on their hands than the rest of us. For that I envy them.
The reality is that pre-fab forum software like this just make you plug names in for various rooms, titles, etc. They make it a lot easier to start a forum than writing your own code.

I was wondering about those titles.
Still no one really answered how the titles are assigned.
What I did pick up is they indicate the number of questions you have asked, and answers you have posted?
No matter.
I enjoy the forum.

What is the AC mod? If you don't want to answer here please link me to the correct place.

They're purely based on your post count. There are various milestones and the title will change as your count passes them.

Why is it important. We do have lot of time on our hands since we are both retired. We do go to a lot of rallies as we not only are members of the MOC but also Escapees and FCRV. We have met hundreds of MOC members over the years as well as members of the other groups. This forum is a great place for socializing as well as educational .We did not give ourselves the "master" title and it will not have any effect our posting here.

You are so right, but the times has changed since the original forum was established.

I think most forums do it. RV.net does the same although with fewer titles. When I still owned some pasture land I frequented a tractor forum that also had titles based on number of postings.
Rarely do I ever look except when someone ask a question that has been ask many times before and I will look to see if they are a new member. It might affect my reply.

I know one thing for sure about this forum;
There are some mighty fine people here who are not only willing, but
enjoy helping others. That's a good place to be in my book.

Until today, I never even noticed except maybe a quick look to see where a member says they are from.

I've been camping, RVing, and RV ownership since I was 7 years old. I'm now 64, 65 in April. I've been a member of this forum for a little over a year now, but decided to start hanging out here for a while. So, my post count is pretty low right now. So, does that make me a "Jack of all trades, and (Master) of none!
Actually, I'm not sure how this forum site works yet, but other forums I've used there is a hierarchy with the user designation. When you reach the next level, you get access to do more on the site, or, you can do more with your posts.
Right now, I don't see a way to add an emoticon to my post. Maybe that opens up after I make a couple hundred posts on here??????

You might be right on the emoticon thing. I'm at Montana Master but so is Richfaa and we are 19,177 post apart with him having just a tad under 20,000 posts. When I reply, I have a imoticons on the right and bottom to choose from.

Did a little playing around and found out that if I use the "Advanced" post feature, the emoticons are there (now). I also noticed I jumped up a level at post 15, so maybe they weren't there before:

and this???
You have included 11 images in your message. You are limited to using 10 images so please go back and correct the problem and then continue again.
Images include use of smilies, the BB code [img] tag and HTML <img> tags. The use of these is all subject to them being enabled by the administrator.
I suppose there is a learning curve here.

You are correct, your Post count determines the "title" under your screen name. What names come at each level is not something I have worried about as it doesn't matter. All functions of the Forum (once you get past 10 Posts) are available to everyone.
The "Quick Reply" box at the end of the Thread is a simplistic text box to write something quick and simple. As you discovered the "Go Advanced" button takes you to a full function edit screen with Fonts, Colors, Size, Picture, Emoticons, Hiperlinks, and etc.
I was unaware of the 10 image limit. I think I understand why the limit, but not the value.
Welcome again to the MOC. I have followed your posts for a lomg time on another forum. I hope we can help you as well as you helping us!

The Second mod was to remove all AC vents and cut out every other blade to increase air flow and check for any other obstructions.
