We have a 2017 305RL and love it as well. We love the big RV fridge, the roller blinds (I hate changing strings on accordion blinds!), and the king bed (although we changed the mattress out for a Brentwood).
We retired in 2008 and this is our third fifth wheel since then. We winter in Florida and take lots of trips, long and short with it. We love the lifestyle! Just hook up and go any time we want! We are not full time, we have a house and can park the Monty in the driveway since we live in the country.
This trailer is bigger than our previous two which were 30 and 34 feet, and the size suits us fine. DH is comfortable with it, and would not want to haul around anything larger. It gets harder to find campsites when your trailer is really long. It also costs more for ferry crossings.
