Marks on floor from slide out
We have a 2018 3121RL and have noted a black streak forming on the linoleum floor from the kitchen slide out. Each time we move the slide the mark gets worse. Someone mentioned to me about a stick-on plastic strip that will stop this from happening. Does anyone know what this is and where to find one? Or a pair, whatever?
Thanks in advance.

First ensure you aren't dragging debris between the slide and floor. The other most common reason is factory defect. The slide has a "rub" strip that slides along the floor as it goes in and out. Staples and or screws come loose on the rub strip and gouge the flooring. If you are "lucky" take it in for warranty asap. If not you can lay down a thin lexan strip over the gouges to absorb the damage from the slide.

Thank you. The marks are just that...marks, not gouges or cuts. It looks like paint rubbing off the bottom. I'll get into it tomorrow.

Assuming you don't have a wear strip missing or an adjustment issue ... a fastener would do more damage than just a black mark ... we did this . We have carpet, but over time the carpet gets dark strips at the ends of the main slide. We bought these several years ago to stop this. It should work on linoleum as well.

Just put them down before you draw the slides in and the slide floor will just slide on top of them. I will say their price has gone way up since we bought ours.

one of the reviews claim these do not work on vinyl floors.

Just apply double sided automotive tape next to the pads already on the backside and lay on some strips of the shelf liners that keep plates and such in place.
