Kitchen window

My suggestion is for the kitchen window in our Mountaineer. Why put a crank-out window where the door goes when it is open? A slider would make much more sense. If the door is hooked open I can only open the window about a half inch. If the door is closed and the window is fully opened we have to make sure we don't open the door all the way or it will get bashed in. Just a suggestion!
