Hello from Southern IL
My hopefully soon to be former state of residence. My wife and I have a lease at an rv resort down in florida and have decided to sell out and move down there. Might come north in the summer and visit. We're trying to make a deal on a Montana High Country 384BR.
I traded my 2015 Duramax 2500HD for a new Ram 3500 crew cab long bed dually 4x4 with cummins/aisin a few months ago to make sure I had enough payload to pull whatever we ended up buying. We've both decided that the 384 br is what we want, now just need to get the deal done.
This seems like a really nice site.

Welcome to the forum from Arizona. Going to be hot in Florida and Humidity will make it feel even hotter. But look who's talking it's 112 at home today here in AZ. But right now I am sitting on top of a mountain (in AZ) 75 miles from home and the temp is 84 dry heat.
Very nice and comfortable at a great Country RV park.
So welcome this is a great place to learn and share information. Be safe and have a great time.

We pick up the 384BR tomorrow. Have to haul my Windjammer 2 hours to the dealer sign the papers, they already have my deposit.. I had 2 travel trailers and they convinced me to trade them both, never heard of anything like that before. We pulled the sunset trail to them yesterday.
We bought the Windjammer to leave in Florida but after a time decided to bring it home so I had two trailers here to deal with, selling them hasn't been going so good. I'm glad to be rid of them.
Got to go and trim some limbs over the driveway now so this tall Montana won't rub them when I bring it home tomorrow.

Mike-- First of wall welcome to the Forum and becoming a new owner of a Montana. You've found the perfect place to learn about your unit and ask questions about it too. You'll get answers from the experts--actual Montana owners. Second, just one piece of advice when go and pick that new unit up-- just make sure you do a complete PDI of the unit BEFORE taking it off the dealers lot. If you find things wrong, make them fix them BEFORE you pull it away. Third, check to see what you have for tires on your unit. If you have anything but Sailuns or Goodyear G614s on the unit get rid of them ASAP and put on some G rated tires. The factory tires, unless they are Sailun G rated tires are a problem just waiting to happen. If you have E rated tires on them run don't walk to tire dealer and have the E's taken off and G's put on. You will a whole lot happier and you won't have to worry about having a blowout while driving down the roads on your travels. Good luck and hope to meet you along your journeys in your new rig.

It's home. Wife's been out there like a little girl in a dollhouse with sheets and rugs. I've been wrestling with the tv's.
