Great Lakes Rally
I know that many of you have to get vacation time applied for and make other travel plans. Just to keep everyone updated, the initial date for the Great Lakes Rally for this fall is that it will start on probably September 8th thru September 13. The factory tour will be on September 10th. We will be trying to get the rest of the rally events planned as we go. The initial planning group will need help and support in the planning. The Rally will again be held at Pla Mor campground. At least this will allow you to begin your planning whether for travel or vacation time.

Thanks Ron and Terrie, Those dates will work well for us. Looking at the dates for the Virginia, Northeast and the Great Lakes rallies we should have no problem getting to all 3 and than top the year off with the rally in Reno. It would have been great if we could also have made it to Northern California in May but I guess we'll put that off for another time.

Great Ron and Terrie. Works well for us as we won't be heading to Reno.

Ron and Terry, thanks for doing the footwork on our regional rally. I'm sorry to say we won't be able to attend on that weekend, family things, but I'm sure you will have a great time. We will have the privilage of attending the Reno rally, so I guess it's not all bad. Keep up the great work.

Ron and Terry, be sure to contact Jeff Rand and Garett Carolus at Montana with the dates. When we were at the plant in Nov. Garett told me he would have the service area better prepared for rally participants if a rally came back to Goshem area. There was some talk of having techs. available at the campground also. I have email address for them if you don't have them.

Plan on attending the GL Rally in Sept. Turned in vacation request schedule this week. I know that Kansans aren't a part of the regional club, but there aren't many of us in the MOC. Also couldn't make the 1st annual rally at Playmor and definitely unable to go to this years annual rally.

There are a few other people working behind the scenes that have already done a lot of the legwork, including the contacts with Montana/Keystone. I'm only the messenger at this point. We are hopeful that we will accomplish two things:
1. Have a great rally.
2. Not take away from the National rally at Reno.
Looking forward to all that will be there.

Can anyone tell me if we have to have reservations or not? How much will this cost per night? Do we reserve with Pla Mor? This will be our first Montana Rally and need answers. Thank You in advance.

Gene -
So far, we know where and when. The what, how many, how much, etc. we don't have yet. Last year, the nice people that set up the first rally took care of keeping track of how many people were coming. Pla Mor did not require deposits. Not sure if that will hold this year, but they were really nice there at the campground (and the people at Keystone), so we probably won't need deposits. We will let everyone know sometime this summer how that will work. Right now, we wanted to make sure that people could get their vacation time or travel agenda planned. We will keep everyone posted as time goes on.

We would like to attend the rallyin September at Pla Mor. Where is this campground? We are retired and were full timing for a couple years, but now own our home and like to go camping every so often.

Eric -
Yes, that is the link to the campground. They are utilizing the large grassy area for rallys. Last year, they brought down firewood for us and many other extras. The owners were very accomodating. I don't recall hearing any complaints whatsoever. They had full hookups and we had plenty of room.
