Hey, got two of the subscribed newsletters this week, Carl!



As I said, I did not change any settings, except to add one new newsletter subscription. So from where I sit, simply saving that change woke the system up.


I can't say that for sure of course, but that's what it would appear to have been.


In any case, they're back flowing in - thanks again for the attention.

A couple of things to check before we get too excited.

o - Ensure the email didn't go to your SPAM folder.
o - Have you read Post #22 and checked that it is done?
o - Have you read Post #23 and done the steps described there?

These three actions have enabled the newsletter sending to those who who reported it missing.

I have checked my spam, also followed #22 and 23. Still not receiving newsletter. Thanks.

Scroll all the way down until you see this in the left side menu:

Click on newsletter preferences. On the next page you will see all the newsletters you can subscribe to. Change your settings as desired and scroll down to save.

Hadn't realized that we have not gotten the newsletter as of late as well. Checked the Spam folder, but nada. Followed the suggestions for the User CP settings, but "Edit Newsletter Preferences" isn't in the list under the Miscellaneous section. Oh well, I'm sure it will get sorted out soon.

Hi.
I hadn't realized it either, but it seems I've stopped receiving all the newsletters I've subscribed to as well. I subscribe to 3, the best being the Montana Newsletter.
I did check my subscription settings, and they are fine. I hit "update" just in case that would wake it up. I'll let you know if it does.
This happened to me a year or two ago and you sorted it then, as part of others.

For some reason I am no longer receiving MOC emails. I've checked my spam folder and nothing there either. Any ideas?

Can I assume you have checked the settings described in Posts #22 and #23? The Forum software says you are subscribed which is better than the others.

Do you have a Yahoo email address? What about your husband? I ask because many of the members reporting missing newsletters have Yahoo addresses (Gmail, Comcast, etc. addresses are not reporting problems). You might try checking with Yahoo

I'm having this issue as well. Can't find the tab as described to list newsletters. Worked fine for a long time, then suddenly quit.

Are you on a PC or a phone/tablet? If phone/tablet, have you gone to the bottom of the Home page and set the option for "View Full Site"?

You do have to be logged on to the forum before any of this works. When you click on https://www.montanaowners.com/forums/usercp.php you should be in the User CP screen. Page down and almost the last thing in the left pane is the Miscellaneous Category and the Edit Newsletter Preferences option.

If you don't see this, can your screen shot what you do see and post it here?

P.S. I can see the software thinks you are subscribed to the newsletter, if that makes you feel better.

I just recently received my first MOC email a week or so ago. The first in 8 months.

Thanks for your reply Carl. I tend to visit the MOC only on my PC. This morning after reading your post, I logged on from my tablet and lo and behold the option for newsletter choices was present. I checked and the MOC newsletter was selected. I made a couple of profile changes unrelated to that, and now that tab is visible on my PC as well. ?????? Anyway, I guess time will tell if I'm back in the loop. Thanks for your help. Clyde

I assume you have checked the settings described in Posts #22 and #23?

I suspect you have a Yahoo email address and that seems to be a problem. There isn't much more I can do on my end. You should try reporting the problem to the software support folks by using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of every page. Someone speculated it is a Yahoo issue, but check with the software support folks first.

Yes, I've checked the settings (multiple times). This is the second time it's been shut-off.


I do get some things (e.g. notification that you'd replied to this thread), but none of the news letters.

Same boat as Hortense. Checked and rechecked settings. Still not getting anything except notices of replies to my posts. Not using Yahoo. Will try the contact link as well...............
